Constitution of Ferrata
- Respect
You are required to treat others with respect. How you actually feel about them is not relevant, but your behavior is. We do not need to end up getting a bad reputation on the server because a few members can not control themselves and kept an objective point in mind when dealing with others.
- Quality People
Ferrata seeks mature minded people to fill our ranks. We have a standard to maintain, and a reputation to up hold. People should be proud to wear the Ferrata tag, our conduct reflects our ideals and beliefs. Our conduct should draw people to our guild. Each person has a stake in what Ferrata is and stands for.
- Embarrassing Behavior
Your actions are a direct reflection on the guild, keep this in mind when dealing with others. Any behavior that is excessive and causing embarrassment to the guild is grounds for removal. Any guild member that engages in excessively disruptive/embarrassing behavior will receive a cautionary warning first, and if that behavior continues, they will be removed from the guild.
- Conflicts
The Guild Channel is not the place to settle differences. Accusations and/or disputes are not to be settled using the Guild channel. Conflicts between two members must be settled in private. Any conflicts that require the attention of one or more officers will be settled privately.
- Offensive Language
What may not be considered offensive to some, may be considered to another as completely acceptable. This is what makes regulating language difficult. Also as a fairly relaxed Guild, we are entitled to our freedom of speech. Therefore, this is not a rule against language, but a rule of common courtesy instead. If any member feels another member is being offensive in the Guild channel, they must first ask that member to please moderate their language. If the problem continues, an officer must be notified. Violating one of these rules, will mean an officer following up the actions and could result in a warning, banning from the forums or even removal from the Guild.
- Loot
Loot Received through Guild raids is not to be sold without officer approval. If you don't need an item, there is likely someone else in the Guild who does, so ask first. Violators will be removed from the Guild. If no one actually needs an item then it will be a greed roll, then it is free to sale.
You will be asked to post a message in the forums of what gear you want and where it drops, this is to help plan runs for who needs what items, and to keep people from rolling on something they do not actually need. This does not mean you cannot roll on an item that drop if it is not on your list, we just ask that you try to roll on the ones that are on your list. This way everyone gets the gear they need the most.
Note: This rule is only for high level, end game scenarios.
- Self Sufficient
The guild is here to help you in many ways, this does not mean we will carry you. You need to be able to gather your own items for raids, and materials for crafting. There is a big difference in someone donating to a member and someone who is not self sufficient.
